Founded in 1989 by Todd and Lori Funfar, Deckmasters has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to quality in every deck we create in the Fargo Moorhead, and lakes area. What began as a simple business operating out of their home, has grown into the trusted name in deck building & supply. Known for our attention to detail, personalized service, and passion for our trade.

In 2002 the Funfar's dreamed of not only focusing on building, but creating a one stop shop lumberyard dedicated to all things decks.  That dream became a reality with the Deckmasters Supply Store. We are still located on 53rd Avenue South, in Fargo. Over the last 20 years, our lumberyard has specialized exclusively into low maintenance products. Helping to serve contractors and DIY-ers alike.

We expanded our focus on retail sales by adding a professional contractor program along with tailored solutions and support for D.I.Y. homeowners.

We also developed and introduced Great Plains Pergolas, our very own line of aluminum pergolas.

Designed for quality and aesthetic appeal, and North Dakota winds.

After 36 years of business, the Funfar's said their goodbye's and headed to the lake to enjoy retirement and sold Deckmasters to long time employee Josh Smook.

The same commitment to quality materials and service still remains true and will continue to as we grow. With over three decades of service, our skilled team brings  personal touch to every project, big or small.

As we look to the future, we are excited about our growth in the local market and plans for expansion into new markets.
